Measuring Guide

Note: The below is just a guide. We recommend that whenever possible you get a qualified seamstress to measure your dress size. Always get someone else to make the measurements for you. Measuring yourself will give inaccurate numbers.

Bust:     Measure around the fullest part of your bust.

Waist:     Measure around the smallest part of your waistline.

Hips:   Measure around the widest part of your hips.

Length:      Measure from the top of the shoulder, past the nipple, to the floor, including the height of the shoes you will be wearing at your event. If you are ordering a gown that does not reach the floor, simply measure from the shoulder to where you would like the end of the dress to be.

Under Bust:     Measure around under your bust.

Nipple To Nipple:      The distance between your nipples.

Shoulder To Nipple:     Measure from the top of the shoulder to the nipple.

Shoulder To Waist:     Measure from the top of the shoulder, past the nipple, to your waist.

Shoulder To Hips:     Measure from the top of the shoulder, past the nipple, to your hips.

Shoulder To Shoulder:     Measure the distance from the very outside of one shoulder, to the other.

Neck:     Measure around the fullest part of your neck.

Biceps:     Measure around the widest part of your arm.

 Shoulder to Wrist (long sleeve gown):      Measure from your shoulder to your wrist.

*** Remember to keep the measuring tape comfortably loose.
